Michele Norris is an award-winning journalist and former host of NPR’s All Things Considered. She is also the Creator of The Race Card Project, which encourages people to explain their thoughts in on race in six words. The project has become a worldwide movement gathering thoughts from a diverse global audience. Norris’s book The Grace of Silence explores her family’s hidden conversations and histories about race.
