Nov 13, 2017News

The Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg awarded 9 grants totaling more than $771,515 to nonprofits working to advance health equity for residents of Pinellas County.

The Foundation works with people across the nonprofit, public, faith and business communities to achieve more equitable health outcomes in Pinellas County. By paying attention to the root causes of inequality in our community, the Foundation targets its grantmaking, convening, policy and communications work where they can have the greatest impact.

The Foundation’s Empowerment Grants will help smaller- to mid-sized nonprofit organizations undertake new initiatives and collaborations, expand or sustain current activities, or improve organizational capacity to impact community health in substantial ways.
