Building healthier communities must begin with our families, neighborhoods, and communities.
To be effective, diverse groups of people and organizations must work together to transform the underlying conditions that affect every-day life for BIPOC. This requires courage, curiosity, and optimism: the courage to listen outside our individual life experiences, the curiosity to question what is accepted as status quo, and the belief that together, change is on the horizon.
It's easier to build the society we want to live in when we can clearly envision what it should look like.
