Texting Service Policy

To provide equitable access to our events and activities, the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg (Foundation) utilizes a texting service to share messages with our constituents.  (Up to 4 messages per month)

As part of our texting service, we will not share or sell your mobile number or data.  Please note that you also have the right to opt-out from receiving text at any time by texting the word “STOP” or “QUIT”.  Text “SUPPORT” for technical assistance.  Message and data rates may apply.

SMS Terms and Conditions

The Foundation is committed to building user trust and confidence by promoting and complying with the use of business practices that help protect the privacy of you as the user and your data.  For more information regarding how we protect your information, please view the Foundation’s Privacy Policy.

The Foundation offers recurring text message services.  By opting in to this service, you are confirming your entry into a recurring texting program, and you are providing your consent to the Foundation for a Healthy St. Petersburg to use an automatic system to deliver text messages to the phone number that you have provided to the Foundation to receive text messages.  The frequency of messages will vary.

The Foundation does not charge for our texting service, however, please note that message and data rates may apply based on your agreement with your mobile carrier.  By providing consent to participate in our texting service, you approve of any such charges from your mobile carrier. Charges may appear on your mobile phone bill or be deducted from your pre-paid balance.

The Foundation reserves the right to terminate the SMS service, in whole or in part without any notice.  The information in any message may be subject to certain time lags and/or delays.  If you need technical assistance or have questions, please enter the work “SUPPORT” in the text thread.

How to Opt-Out

To stop receiving text messages, text STOP or QUIT.  By enrolling in the texting service, you consent that after having submitted a request to opt-out you will receive one (1) final message confirming that you have been removed from the system.  Following the opt-out confirmation message, no additional text messages will be sent unless you affirmatively rejoin the system.
