Dr. Rachel Dawkins
Dr. Rachel Dawkins specializes in general pediatrics and is medical director of the Johns Hopkins All Children’s Care Network. She also is an assistant professor of pediatrics in the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine. Dr. Dawkins is active nationally with the American Academy of Pediatrics and the American Board of Pediatrics. Her research and teaching interests are in childhood resilience, advocacy, resident education, and obesity.
Dr. Dawkins grew up in Largo and graduated from St. Petersburg High School. She attended the University of Miami for undergraduate and medical schools. Dr Dawkins moved to New Orleans for her pediatric residency at Louisiana State University where she stayed on as faculty before returning to St. Pete in 2014. She is a proud 8th generation Floridian and an aunt to two tween boys and a dog mom to Tuck.
