CURRENT PROGRAMS
THEIR STORIES, OUR VOICES YOUTH GRIOT PROGRAM
We’re working with a group of local high school students to build awareness of local Black history, shift narratives, and grow the skills of empowered young community-driven storytellers.
BUILDING AN EQUITY MOVEMENT
The Foundation offers this curated learning experience to help community members understand St. Petersburg’s racial history so that we may develop meaningful ways to individually and collectively address systemic barriers that continue to exist today. Through these trainings, which serve as an entry point for education and further exploration, groups learn from stories about people who have previously challenged the status quo to fight for equity. To schedule a training or learn more, email Impact Manager Joshua Bean at joshua@healthystpete.foundation. Explore online resources through the link below.
SOCIAL JUSTICE BOOK CLUB
